Sun Lizard on site: Millicent, SA

Adam Hutton has been so impressed by the Sun Lizard he’s installed two atop his duplex home in southeastern South Australia.

The two Sun Lizards heat and cool the respective halves of the one-story building occupied by Adam and his family and his mother. With the two Sun Lizards, Adam has the power of South Australia’s powerful sun at his fingertips. With southern South Australia’s highly variable weather, both are necessary – sometimes on the same day!

“When the Sun Lizard is set to heating, the average room temperature rises,” Adam says. “And on days it’s set on cooling it extracts air from the roof cavity, keeping heat infiltration into the house to a minimum.”
